When the product we’re helping to advertise is a piece of software, it can be difficult to show the effect it might have on a business. Instead we tried to focus on understanding the problem that the target customers might have and convey that in the series of films.

We decided to have a younger character come into a business much like the kind that could benefit from the Alcatel-Lucent Motive solution, and point out that there might be a better way to do things – in a way that is more humorous than malicious. We never mention the Alcatel-Lucent solution by name, but by making it clear that we understand the world and the business problems that customers are having, whilst also making an entertaining film, we encourage customers to find out more information.
